Hot land auction

From the looks of a recent auction, farm real estate prices haven't softened. In June, 5,280 acres of Illinois land sold for more than $10 million, averaging $1,895/acre. The land was sold in 63 parcels to 35 buyers. Farmers National Company, headquartered in Omaha, NE, conducted the auction.
