Roundup pre-mixes will be key ingredient in Monsanto’s new Xtend trait system

Monsanto is preparing to launch a new version of its Roundup Ready Genuity trait system that will include corn and soybeans resistant to Roundup or glyphosate and dicamba. Another extension of that system will include cotton that is tolerant to glyphosate, dicamba and glufosinate. Monsanto’s Michelle Vigna did double duty the last week of February, explaining the new platforms in briefings at Commodity Classic in Nashville and at the Mid-South Farm and Gin Show in Memphis, Tenn.
