Court rules for Dow AgroSciences in patent lawsuit

A federal district court recently ruled in Dow AgroSciences favor in a patent infringement lawsuit with Bayer CropScience. The lawsuit was filed in December 2010 by Bayer CropScience alleging that Dow AgroSciences’ herbicide tolerance technology in Enlist Weed Control System infringes on one of its patents.

The federal district court determined that the Enlist technology did not infringe on the patent. The court issued the ruling Sept. 27.
