John Deere unveils new Triple-Mounted Mower-Conditioner

Cut and condition up to 40 acres of hay per hour with the John Deere Triple-Mounted Mower-Conditioner, new for 2012. The machine pairs up a 131 Front-Mount Mower-Conditioner with a model 388 Twin Rear-Mount Mower-Conditioner to cut a swath more than 28 ft. wide in a single pass as field conditions warrant. Width slims down to 10 ft. 2 in. for transport.

The Triple-Mounted unit requires a 190+ rear PTO hp tractor equipped with front hitch and 1,000 rpm PTO. The standard configuration uses a 1 3/8-in. front PTO, which can be adapted to 1 3/4-in., and a 1 3/4-in. rear PTO connection. Quik-Coupler adapting parts come standard on the 388 Rear-Mount Mower-Conditioner for easy attachment to tractors with Category 3 or Category 4N/3 three-point hitch.

The price on the 131 is $23,618. The price on the 388 is $60,170. For more information, see your local John Deere dealer or visit www.JohnDeere.com.
