CF Industries Inc. - Based in Deerfield, IL, it operates nitrogen fertilizer plants in Donaldsonville, LA, and Medicine Hat, AB, Canada; conducts phosphate mining and manufacturing in central Florida; and distributes fertilizer primarily in the Midwest. It also owns a 50% interest in Keytrade AG, a global fertilizer trading organization headquartered in Switzerland.

Terra Industries Inc. - With home offices in Sioux City, IA, it produces urea ammonium nitrate (UAN), anhydrous ammonia and ammonium nitrate at facilities in Donaldsonville, LA; Verdigris, OK; Woodward, OK; Port Neal, IA; Yazoo City, MS; and Courtright, ON, Canada. It also is part owner of a joint venture in the United Kingdom and a Trinidad anhydrous ammonia plant.

Agrium Inc. - Based in Calgary, AB, Canada, it produces all three major ag nutrients, with retailers in both North and South America. It operates nine nitrogen facilities in Canada, the United States and Argentina; owns a potash mine with more than 50 years of reserves; and operates two phosphate plants.
