FARMALL HISTORY

THIS BEAUTIFUL new book from MBI Publishing Company will make a great Christmas gift for the Farmall tractor enthusiast. Farmall: Eight Decades of Innovation by Randy Leffingwell follows the IH Farmall line from the first model built in 1924 to the new tractors being manufactured today by Case IH/New Holland. Every page of the 352-page book contains photos, with most of them in color. The book includes many color photos of beautifully restored Farmall tractors, as well as photos from the early days of the tractor brand. The photos help depict the role Farmall played in the development of the tractor.

The book contains profiles and insights from engineers and designers who built the Farmall line from the very beginning. It takes the tractor through agriculture's booming decades of the 1950s, '60s and '70s and into the current years with the Case IH brand.

The hardcover coffee-table book retails for $50 and is available from MBI Publishing Co., 380 Jackson St., Suite 200, St. Paul MN 55101, 800/826-6600, www.motorbooks.com.
