Air-delivered seed system
KINZE'S NEW 3660 SDS Twin-Line planter will be ready for planting in 2009. The planter features an air-delivery system for transferring seed from the central hopper to individual row units instead of a mechanical system. On the 3660, the seed is constantly recirculated to prevent stoppages. The new planter is equipped with the Kinze Vision system that allows an operator to monitor planter functions and change seed population rates on the go from a single touch-screen display in the cab. It also features a closed-center hydraulic system to maintain planting depth across all row units, single-row air-actuated clutches, and a 110-bu. seed capacity.
Sturdy mower jack
THE MOJACK is a special jack that lifts the front end of a large mower off the ground 24 in. for maintenance and blade work. The jack is designed with triple redundant safety jacks and pins, along with a nonslip, self-braking winch and a sturdy jack stand to prevent the machine from slipping. It is built of 1- and 2-in. 11-gauge steel tubing.
The MoJack comes in three models ranging in price from $280 to $335. Contact MoJack, Dept. FIN, 3983 N. Woodlawn, Wichita, KS 67220, 877/466-5225, visit www.themojack.com or www.freeproductinfo.net/fin, or circle 103.

The new sprayers are powered with either a Cummins or a Mercedes engine ranging from 215 to 365 hp and mounted in the rear for even weight distribution. The HydraLink suspension is hydraulically controlled and allows for 20 in. of suspension travel on each wheel. A front boom provides a clear view of all the nozzles, and front attachments are easily changed on the sprayer.
The sprayer offers 6 ft. of crop clearance and is available with a variety of tank sizes and options. The Nitro sprayer may be factory equipped with a variety of Raven controls and precision farming equipment.
Suggested retail price of the Nitro 4240 is $199,000. Contact Miller-St. Nazianz Inc., Dept. FIN, 511 E. Main St., St. Nazianz, WI 54232, 800/247-5557, visit www.millerstn.com or www.freeproductinfo.net/fin, or circle 104.
Narrow residue manager
YETTER INTRODUCES a residue manager for planters with row widths as narrow as 15 in. Called the Titan, the model works with or without a no-till coulter. It moves residue to eliminate hairpinning, sidewall compaction and row-unit bounce. It may be set to float over the soil surface or to lock down for positive wheel traction.
A PLANTER operator now can have more real-time planting information with Precision Planting's new 20/20 SeedSense system. SeedSense lets the operator see on-the-go population, singulation, skips and multiples. It gives speed by row, down pressure and ground contact. As a result, a grower can see a problem as it happens and fix it in the field.
The SeedSense consists of a display, processor, row-unit module and downforce sensor. The base unit sells for $5,400. Contact Precision Planting, Dept. FIN, 23207 Townline Rd., Tremont, IL 61568, 309/925-5050, visit www.precisionplanting.com or www.freeproductinfo.net/fin, or circle 106.
Narrow transport conditioner
J&M SAYS it designed its new Torsion-Flex soil conditioner to maintain proper ground tension for a finished seedbed in one pass. The conditioner is equipped with double, 12-in.-dia. baskets with eight blades made of high-grade steel. An option is a coil-tine spring harrow to help knock down ridges. The conditioner folds to a narrow transport width of 13 ft. 5 in. or 15 ft. 5 in. A turn-buckle bar easily adjusts the tongue and basket height for road clearance.
Working widths range from 12 to 45 ft. A 28-ft. model lists for $12,270. Contact J&M Mfg. Co. Inc., Dept. FIN, Box 547, Fort Recovery, OH 45846, 419/375-2376, visit www.jm-inc.com or www.freeproductinfo.net/fin, or circle 107.
UNVERFERTH'S NEW cross-fold rolling harrow is now available in 39- and 43-ft. lengths. The harrow features double baskets and a coil-tine leveling bar to smooth and firm a coarse seedbed. The harrow is available in pull-type or semi-mount models.
BOBCAT is now selling a new line of compact tractors in its dealerships. Last year, Bobcat announced an agreement with South Korean tractor manufacturer Daedong Industrial Company to build the tractors. Nine models will be included in the line. At the show, the CT120, CT122, CT225 and CT230 models with 20 to 30 hp were available. Retail prices for these tractors range from about $11,500 to $15,600.
The models feature 4-wd, hydrostatic transmissions, steel hoods and fenders, and roll-over protective structures. The tractors may be used with Bobcat implements.
DAWN EQUIPMENT'S new row cleaner for planters mounts directly to the planter frame and not to row units to relieve stress. The GFX is equipped with a hydraulic cylinder to provide down pressure from 0 to 120 lbs. and may be remotely adjusted for all row units. All the row cleaners may be raised or lowered in seconds with a flip of a switch in the tractor cab.
The GFX may be mounted on most brands of wide planters. It retails for $800/unit. Contact Dawn Equipment Co., Dept. FIN, Box 497, Sycamore, IL 60178, 800/554-0007, visit www.dawnequipment.com or www.freeproductinfo.net/fin, or circle 110.

DICKEY-JOHN INTRODUCES the HD4180, an all-in-one hydraulic motor and proportional valve assembly. The HD4180 may be installed on planters and air seeders to rotate seeding shafts instead of using ground-driven gearboxes. Using the HD4180 allows variable-rate seeding on the go. Up to four HD4180 units may installed to control planter sections or fertilizer applications.
