Fendt's new 540-hp Trisix Vario tractor with three axles drew large crowds at the Agritechnica farm show in Hannover, Germany. The three axles give greater power transfer and better traction compared to conventional wheeled designs, according to AGCO's Fendt. Because three axles are used instead of duals, the tractor width also meets Europe's tough rules for unrestricted road use.
