Mobile Scouting

Apr 1, 2007 12:00 PM

Sabi Mobile combines a GPS-capable PDA, a highly customizable data collection system and high-powered Web-based analytical tools to simplify collection and analysis of field data. The SABI Mobile-enabled PDA can store aerial photos of up to 1 meter in resolution for use while scouting and noting location-specific field data. It also can capture drawn or driven field boundaries. Field observations collected with the PDA are downloaded to a secure server, which allows information to be shared and provides access to a suite of GIS analytical tools. Analyzed data can be downloaded to a PC in pdf and Excel formats.

The subscription-based service costs $1,200/year. A Pharos 525E PDA is provided with a two-year subscription. For more information, call Serveon Inc. at 800/880-9746, visit www.serveon.net or www.freeproductinfo.net/fin, or circle 155.
