New player in GPS guidance

Feb 1, 2001 12:00 PM

RHS once again adds to its new Outback Field Guidance line by introducing its new Outback S, a GPS-based field guidance system.

This is the company's first GPS guidance system, and according to a company spokesman, it is priced dramatically less than other systems on the market and offers innovations that other systems don't have. For instance, the $3,990 system features a steering guide that lets you know ahead of time that you're going off track, instead of alerting you that you are already off track like competitors' models do. And the company claims it's for the “mainstream” farmer: Anyone can install the monitor and system in about 15 min., and it is straightforward and easy to use. The company designed the system with an open architecture for future upgrades.

Check out the company's Web site for local support. Outback Guidance Centers outlets provide personal assistance to buyers no matter their location. The online outlets troubleshoot, help you place an order and answer your questions. Contact RHS Inc., Dept. FIN, 2005 W.
