BEELINE Technologies has added new capabilities for its Arro system, making it competitive in the automated steering market. The system may be used hands free to drive a radial path in center pivot irrigated fields. The contour feature lets operators drive with automatic steering in fields shaped irregularly or with terraces and tree lines. An automatic reverse feature allows the machine to be turned around and backed up to the end of the field using the Beeline automatic setting to drive it in reverse. The Arro system allows a driver to locate, map and record obstacles in the field. An area-worked map may also be shown to help the grower see what has already been covered.
