Farm King 2460 60-ft. liquid fertilizer applicator
Farm King introduced for the first time this week a new liquid fertilizer applicator. Two tank configurations are available: The 1860 model which has an 1,800 gallon tank; the 2460 model has a 2,400 gallon tank. The toolbar boasts 36 in. crop clearance, which allows for later season liquid application. New row crop tractor line from Versatile
The Genesis tractor, introduced in 1993, became part of the Buhler tractor line in 2000 and was then reintroduced as a Versatile in 2008, featuring a Cummins engine. Now Versatile has unveiled its brand new lone of front-wheel assist row crop tractors at the show for the first time this year. They feature larger cabs and all-new styling, including a sloped hood for visibility and an increased grille area. The tractor is available in 260, 290 and 310 hp. The 310 is shown. Loftness 30-ft. Windrow Draper 30
The new Loftness Windrow Draper 30 uses a conveyor belt to move the stover to the end of the machine. The benefit is that you can put two rows together to minimize the trips the baler needs to make through the field. JCB Workmax 800D utility vehicle
The new Workmas 800D utility vehicle was released from JCB in 2012 and is a newcomer to the ATV and UTV market in North America. The company says the ride is much smoother than competitor utility vehicles due to its enhanced suspension system and even weight distribution. New high-capacity wheel rakes from Vermeer
Vermeer launched its new VR1428/VR2040 high-capacity wheel rakes at the show for the first time this year. The new rakes are able to handle more acres in less time. The larger rake handles like a smaller capacity rake due to its close positioning to the tractor. The VR1428 is 28 ft. wide and the VR2040 is 40 ft. wide. New vertical tillage tool from Salford
Salford debuted its brand new I-2100 vertical tillage tool this year at the show. The company also unveiled new attachments for seed and fertilizer application. The company has developed three attachment types for the new tool: a shank with spring or hydraulic auto reset, a broadcast distribution kit and banding tubes designed to place seed or fertilizer in the trench opened by the tillage coulter.
