Maurer Revolver grain auger end
The new Revolver grain auger end from Maurer Manufacturing features a patented design that eliminates grain loss and dribbling, which helps reduce volunteer grain in the next year’s crop. Greater clearance for the combine unloading auger helps minimize the potential for damage to the combine auger or the hauling unit. A convenient foot control operates the spout rotation, leaving the operator’s hands free for other combine controls.

The Scag Cheetah reaches ground speeds up to 16 mph. A 61- or 72-in. Velocity-Plus cutter deck helps assure quality of cut. Scag mowers are covered by a two-year commercial or three-year/500-hr. non-commercial warranty.
Hillco cob-collection system
Single-pass cob-collection technology helps the Hillco system collect clean cobs in one pass rather than multiple passes through the field. The system offers the highest yield of cobs per acre with minimal cob loss. Variable-rate cleaning allows for the flexibility to clean cobs from 70% to more than 90% cobs by weight. The choice of either a combine-pulled cart or a tractor-pulled cart helps provide flexibility for individual farming operations and field conditions.

Brown Bear compost attachments
Poultry layer manure can be composted in the pit of high-rise layer houses using the smaller skid-steer composting attachments from Brown Bear Corporation. Litter from broiler houses can be recycled by composting within the house to pulverize, de-cake, sterilize and flash off the ammonia, all in one operation within a few days’ time.

Nutrient Tracker System from Digi-Star
The Nutrient Tracker System from Digi-Star is the first dynamic weighing system specifically developed to interface with manure spreaders to assist operators in complying with EPA and Department of Natural Resources confined animal feeding operation (CAFO) regulations.
It allows operators to see the application rate while spreading and automatically collects information for the time, date, field names and amount of material applied with GPS verification data. Proprietary PC software combines the data with downloaded Google satellite images of the operator’s fields to show exactly where, when, and how much of the nutrients were applied.

Mathews Continuous flow dryer
Vacuum cooling is now available in the newest continuous flow dryer from Mathews Company. The Flex Continuous Flow 3-in-1 Dryer uses vacuum cooling to reclaim heated air from cooling the grain, resulting in less fuel usage and significant dollar savings. After blending with ambient air drawn from outside, the pre-heated air is returned to the blowers, lowering energy consumption and producing maximum efficiency. Producers can choose from full heat, pressure heat/pressure cool, or pressure heat/vacuum cool options to dry different types of grain. A full-color touch screen is clear and has easy-to-understand operational and alarm set points. Four state-of-the-art moisture sensors with signal-enhanced transmission ensure accurate grain sensing.
