The 36-page booklet reviews the costs, risks, savings and operating changes that you may incur when updating or building a new management system. Topics include planning the development or improvement of a manure-handling system; getting technical information and assistance; meeting regulations; alternatives for manure management; options for transferring manure from barn to storage; and manure storage types and storage management. New feed mixer

J-Star introduces a new line of large-capacity Oswalt “D” series, truck- mounted or trailered mixers.

The TMR mixers offer capacities from 200 to 575 cu. ft. All feature the company's Dowel Drive system, which strengthens the drive by up to 80%, according to J-Star. The units have a low-profile design for easy loading and also feature long-lasting Tuff-Glide mixing chamber liners.

An optional HaySaw processor is like having hundreds of fingers in the mixer pulling hay apart while rations are being mixed.
