N stabilizer approved

THE NITROGEN stabilizer product called Instinct for use with manure and UAN has received full federal registration for use. Dow AgroSciences developed Instinct to help keep nitrogen in the root zone and reduce leaching into groundwater.

It is an encapsulated product that may stay on the soil surface up to 10 days without volatilizing before incorporation with the fertilizer. Instinct contains the active ingredient nitrapyrin. It requires no special application equipment.
