Self-propelled windrowers

AGCO-Hesston has upgraded its self-propelled windrowers with improvements in cutting and in cab comfort. On the 190-hp model 9365, the new cab suspension is designed to reduce operator stress and fatigue. The adjustable air bags let operators customize the ride to suit their preference and field conditions. Air reservoirs, dampers and torsion link control arms minimize lateral movement and roll, while bump stops located next to each air bag limit downward travel to soften bottoming-out situations. Even the cab's front mounting points are isolated to help ensure a smoother ride. The option adds $1,139 to the price of a new Hesston 9365.
Hesston 9190 single conditioner and 9192 double conditioner rotary disc headers, available on the Hesston 9365, offer 16-ft. cutting widths and feature the new RazorBar low-profile cutterbar. Designed to cut closer and scalp less, the cutterbar gears manufactured at SisuDiesel are engineered to handle constant maximum torque of the bigger (24.4-in.) and faster (189-mph tip speed) cutting discs. The gear-to-gear RazorBar cutterbar design eliminates the need for “engineered weak points” to protect the internal drive. The company says that, overall, the new headers are stronger and faster with header speeds of up to 2,600 rpm independent of engine speed. New folding doors improve access to drive components, while the redesigned top shields offer better cutterbar access.
