Kinze grain wagon, planter

Sep 1, 2004 12:00 PM

Kinze Manufacturing announces the addition of a new auger wagon and a new planter in three giant sizes to its lines of ag equipment.

The new 650 edition Harvest Commander grain auger wagon holds up to 700 bu. and unloads in 2¼ min. at 300 bu./min. The 650 model uses no chains or sprockets and requires little daily maintenance. The dual auger unloading system features on-demand positive drive, using a four-band, multistrand V-belt to ensure unrestricted grain flow. The 16-in. vertical augers feature industrial full-tilt flighting and are easy to remove for inspection or replacement. Unloading height is 12 ft. 6 in., and the auger reach is up to 4 ft. 11 in. Base price: $16,462.

The new Kinze 3800 planter may be purchased in three sizes: 24, 32 and 36 rows at 30-in. widths. The 3800 is designed for 60-, 80- and 90-ft. planting widths and is constructed with 7- × 7-in. toolbar sections in seven- or nine-row configurations. The forward toolbars are positioned to accommodate fertilizer opener installations. According to the company, a sliding transport axle reduces transport hitch weight, improves maneuverability for shorter turns, and creates exceptional transport ground clearance.

Prices: $88,140 for 24 rows, $113,931 for 32 rows, and $128,293 for 36 rows. Contact Kinze Mfg., Dept. FIN, Box 806, Williamsburg, IA 52361, 319/668-1300, or visit www.kinze.com or www.freeproductinfo.net/fin.
