Increased safety, less labor

Jul 1, 2004 12:00 PM

Brock Manufacturing has developed a new Sweep-Tracker control system to provide a true, zero-entry sweep process. The system can be retrofitted to older Brock ABC bin sweeps or is available for purchase as part of a new ABC bin sweep. The Sweep-Tracker control module helps monitor the bin sweep's location within the bin and the percentage of grain remaining. These features mean that no one has to enter the bin to check on sweep progress. The Sweep-Tracker system controls the wheel drive or optional crawler track drive systems on the sweep and slows or stops the sweep when it is flooded or when it encounters grain pileups. This helps save on energy and equipment wear and helps to extend service life.
