Espresso at the show
Only in Italy will visitors find a full espresso bar available at the show. And the espresso, cappuccino and coffee are only served in dinnerware cups, not paper or Styrofoam.

Components showcased
The elegant Comer Industries exhibit at EIMA showcased their driveshaft business. The components section of EIMA includes 768 companies. The companies offer a wide range of products from axles to accessories for cabs; from tires to sensors for the electronic control of operations; and from brake systems, cab air conditioning and irrigation systems to onboard computers.

Among the component sections were some unusual displays, including this one of a variety of rims for farm equipment.

New Holland’s hillside combine
New Holland displayed a combine model that is able to tip the header 38 degrees.

New Holland’s CX5090
The New Holland CX5090 model features the Autofloat II and Opti-Fan systems, which earned the company an honorable mention in the EIMA Technical Innovations contest. The Autofloat system allows the combine to maintain a preset cutting height, even in extreme hillside situations. The Opti-Fan regulates the fan's airflow depending on the vehicle slope to optimize the use of machinery on hills.

New Holland offered their own lovely representative to highlight the features of their new Tier 4 engine.

Mitas tire display
One of the world’s largest tire manufacturers, Mitas featured a large display of their tires. Until recently, Mitas was not sold in the U.S. ag market. Now they are manufacturing farm tires in Iowa.

Espresso with precision farming
The Arag precision farming exhibit was more about meeting clients and having coffee than hands-on displays. An extensive coffee bar helped with creating good will among customers.

An accordion player/singer livened up the Gaspardo seeding equipment exhibit.

New Holland simulator
Anything resembling an electronic game attracts a young crowd. These future Italian farmers tried out the New Holland tractor simulator.

The EIMA International show held in Bologna, Italy, offers many unusual sights for the U.S. visitor. The exhibits by New Holland and AGCO's Laverda showcased hillside combines as well as beauty queens. Elegant exhibits by various component manufacturers included espresso bars.
