Less residue in the combine

Aug 1, 2007 12:00 PM

Calmer Corn Heads claims that use of its new six-tooth gathering-chain drive sprocket will reduce the amount of corn residue in a combine. It is designed to work with John Deere 40 and 90 series corn heads. The six-tooth sprocket provides longer chain life and higher stalk ejection, which reduces trash intake.

Retail price for two six-tooth gathering-chain sprockets is $79.95. Retail price for two pre-shortened 47-roller gathering chains is $74.95. Contact Calmer Corn Heads, Dept. FIN, 3056 700th Ave., Lynn Center, IL 61262, 309/629-9000, visit www.calmercornheads.com or www.freeproductinfo.net/fin, or circle 156.
