New hitches Haul 7,000 or 12,500 lbs. of trailer weight when you add one of these Bulldog hitches to your towing trailer. This system allows you to adjust the height of the trailer tongue to the height of the towing vehicle, keeping a level load when towing.
Two styles fit inside a 2 7/8-in.-wide channel: Model 3B6M for a 2-in. ball is rated to haul 7,000 lbs. total trailer weight, and model 4B6M for a 2 5/16-in. ball is rated for up to 12,500 lbs. of total trailer weight. The Quick Change Hitch from Tebben is a retrofit, universal attachment that mounts directly to the hydraulic loader of any skid-steer. Hydraulic lock-in pins slip easily into place to secure various universal attachments. "The operator doesn't have to climb in and out of the loader to change attachments," Mike Tebben explains. Penetrate deep for hardpan The new Brent Tremor subsoiler from Unverferth fractures hardpan down to 20 in. deep for maximum soil shattering. Parabolic-style shanks are constructed with a heavy-duty, all welded, double-frame design with a 6-x6-in. rear bar for durability.
Swivel coulters with 20-in.-dia. ripple blades cut residue in front of the shanks for residue flow and feature 1,500 lbs. of down pressure for consistent penetration. (according to requirements for identity preserved grain) 1 Give the machine a rough cleaning in the field. Unload the grain tank; drop the trap doors; clean off the feederhouse and reel; and clean the ledges in the grain tank. Run the separator and unloading auger a second time. Drop the unloading auger trap door where you can catch the seed in a pail from the grain tank.
2 In the shop, remove and open all remaining traps on return legs and remove housings around the cylinder. Take out the sieves and straw chopper assembly; make sure to open everything around the cylinder and on the bottom of the machine to dislodge seed.
3 Roughly clean the machine with an air hose. Start with major cleaning in the cylinder area; blow out the cylinder cage while running the separator; blow out the straw chopper area with the machine off.
4 Clean the cylinder, concave cages and adjacent areas with high-pressure air with the machine off. Pry out wedged seed in these areas; reattach concaves and run the separator while using high-pressure air; clean the feederhouse by blowing backwards down the feederhouse toward the header; clean the entire header, including platform and sickle guards.
5 Clean the top of the machine in the grain tank and unloading auger; blow seed out of unloading auger while reversing the auger by hand.
6 Reexamine the cylinder and blow out any seed drop from the grain tank; vacuum the auger below the cylinder, then vacuum the augers on the return end grain leg below the sieves.
7 Run the machine to remove the dust and loose seed.
8 Reassemble the parts removed while vacuuming out any additional dislodged seed, while the machine is running. - South Dakota State University
