GLEANER ROTOR UPGRADE

GLEANER'S new Controlled Dynamic Flow (CDF) rotor improves crop flow with a design that uses just six threshing bars. While the six bars are sufficient to release grain from pods or cobs, they produce less pressure on the green stem plant material between the bars and the cage. AGCO Corporation, which owns Gleaner, says the design results in smoother operation and faster ground speeds while maintaining grain quality.
The CDF rotor will be a factory-installed option ($1,300) on new R65 and R75 Gleaner combines and can be field-installed on some older combines. Field-installed rotors range in price from $5,250 to $6,250 with bars or $3,750 to $4,000 without bars.
