Fire suppressor

Engine fire. It doesn't happen often, but when it does, the results can be devastating.

Venmark International's Firetrace automatic fire-suppression system uses a pressurized cylinder and flexible tubing to deliver a fire-suppressing agent at the first sign of a fire. Though impervious to fuels, solvents and UV light, the tubing ruptures at 212°F to dispense the entire contents of the cylinder and extinguish the fire. To work properly, the system must be installed professionally by one of the company's 200 distributors located throughout the country. Price, including installation, ranges from $1,750 to $2,500.
