Energy for stressed cattle

Give stressed cattle a quick dose of a high-energy gel to get them back on their feet. Battle, a micronutrient vitamin drench for beef cattle, is now available in a ready-to-use gel form and packaged in convenient applicator tubes. Offered by the Vit-E-Men Company, Battle helps cattle overcome scours, dehydration, respiratory problems, medication-related energy deficiencies and other nutritional deficiencies. It provides energy in the form of ethyl alcohol that quickly gets into the bloodstream.

Battle is available in two sizes: a 60-cc tube retailing for $4.65 and a 300-cc tube for $14.25. The 60-cc tube is a full dose for a mature steer or cow. The larger size includes five doses. One dose provides the energy equivalent of 4.8 lbs. of corn.
