Dow, John Deere partner on MyJohnDeere technologies

The new partnership will allow for prescription planting recommendations and more for Dow Agrosciences' customers.

Dow AgroSciences and John Deere announced today that they will be collaborating to leverage the MyJohnDeere platform and other new cloud-based services. The partnership will allow for the companies to deliver prescriptions tailored to a grower’s environments.

The move will help Dow AgroSciences’ customers plant more accurately and efficiently. Bringing together production information with analysis from company experts and channel partners will enable specific product recommendations from a broad portfolio of corn hybrids.

John Deere launched MyJohnDeere in 2012, which is an information platform to help growers improve yields and operational efficiency by enabling the management of equipment data, production data and farm operations. The online platform allows producers to analyze yield variability, access decision support tools and collaborate with their agronomic advisers to improve their bottom line.
