The number of tools for ridding corn and soybeans of insects may bereduced, unless enough producers take action. The Environmental ProtectionAgency is reviewing a group of 39 older, common pesticides known asorganophosphates. Among those facing restrictions are products for corn andsoybeans known as Mocap, Terbufos and Thimet. You can comment on the valueof these products to EPA until Nov. 1 through your commodity organizations.
