Jan 1, 2008 12:00 PM

Bayer cropscience, Mertec LLC and M.S. Technologies announce plans to collaborate on the development of innovative traits in soybeans. The first products expected from the collaboration will be soybean varieties with tolerance to both glyphosate and HPPD inhibitors, a class of herbicides that includes Bayer's Balance Pro brand isoxaflutole. Other multi-trait combinations are expected to follow, including a triple herbicide-tolerance stack with LibertyLink.
