Crop1 Insurance is again offering crop insurance discounts. USDA approved the Crop1 premium discount program, which was available on a limited basis last year. The premium discount plan offers federal crop insurance discounts of up to 10% for all crops insured under the federal program. Crops1 says this will amount to a savings of about $1,000 for 1,500 acres of insurance. The program is available to growers in Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio, South Dakota and Wisconsin.
