Wyffels showcases elite corn hybrids

More than 500 growers attended the Corn Strategies conference put on by Wyffels Hybrids. Growers got the opportunity to hear nationally known speakers on profit-building strategies, learn cutting edge tech and view Wyffels field plots of elite corn hybrids.

Held on a farm outside of Malcom, Iowa, the conference included talks by Steve Johnson, Iowa State University, and Moe Russell, Russell Consulting Group. Johnson recommended planning grain storage around cash flow needs throughout the year. Russell stated there's still plenty of money to be made in farming with a good plan in place and the plan well executed.

The Iowa secretary of ag greeted the group at noon.
