New Stalk Stomper from May Wes for protection against stubble damage

May Wes recently announced the introduction of its upgraded Stalk Stomper for use on corn and soybean heads to prevent stubble damage. In fall of 2011, May Wes demoed a 14” shoe prototype and since then, they have put into production the addition of a 14” Quick Disconnect Stalk Stomper shoe alternative to the already existing 9” combine product offerings. The latest 14” Quick Disconnect Stalk Stomper is available and will be a new addition to the upcoming May Wes 2012/13 products.

The Stalk Stomper shoes come standard with a thick Ultra High Molecular Weight (UHMW) Poly liner over thick metal. The poly finish provides an advantage because of its non-stick surface and resistance to abrasion.

The Quick Disconnect Stalk Stompers were released in 2011 and allow for ease with installing, adjusting and removal. May Wes now also offers an upgrade package to enable corn head owners with the original standard mount to make a practical switch to the new Quick Disconnect design.

Pricing on the 14” Quick Disconnect Stalk Stomper starts at $750.

Suggest that this stalk stomper be tried to remove cotton stalks from the field after picking cotton.
