Mud Hog now offers a two-speed, single swivel wheel motor to reduce hose movement and subsequent wear on combine hoses. The swivel motor may be factory or field installed on John Deere's 9000 series STS combines. The motor, rather than the hoses, swivels when the combine turns, reducing damage to the hoses. Plus, the motor allows a shorter steering angle. The new motor lists for $9,000 to $13,000, depending on combine size, displacement, torque and tire size.
