Renewable Energy Group goes public

Shares of the Renewable Energy Group, the Ames, IA-based biodiesel company, began trading on the Nasdaq Global Trading Market today.

 

Renewable Energy Group, Inc. has announced the pricing of its initial public offering of 7,200,000 shares of common stock at $10 per share. The shares are expected to begin trading on the Nasdaq Global Market today under the symbol "REGI." Of the shares of common stock in the offering, REG is offering 6,857,140 shares. Selling stockholders are offering 342,860 shares.

UBS Securities LLC and Piper Jaffray & Co. are acting as joint book-running managers for the offering. Stifel, Nicolaus & Company, Incorporated and Canaccord Genuity Inc. are acting as co-managers.
