Big-bore utility ATV

Suzuki enters the high-powered ATV market with the new KingQuad 700 ATV. This model is powered by a 695-cc, 4-stroke engine with a bore and stroke of 102 × 85 mm. Suzuki claims this model is king of the big-bore sport/utility ATV class. The big bore helps the single-cylinder engine develop abundant torque, especially in the low- to mid-rpm range. Suzuki reports that the high-performance engine boasts plenty of power, quick throttle response and durability.

“Today's ATV riders want more power, more comfort and more convenience from their ATV than ever before,” says Glenn Hansen, Suzuki motorcycle and ATV advertising and press relations manager. “Suzuki has responded with the new KingQuad 700, which comes complete with the most requested high-performance features ever assembled on a big-bore machine.”

The new KingQuad is equipped with a continuously variable automatic transmission and a three-mode drivetrain with 2-wd, 4-wd and front differential-lock 4-wd options. The ride is smooth with the ATV's independent front and rear suspension.

The ATV's electronic fuel-injection system is adapted from Suzuki's GSC-R sport bike. As a result, the ATV offers good fuel mileage, better throttle response and smooth engine power.
