Seeing Big Red

Dec 1, 2008 12:00 PM

Honda Finally introduced its first utility vehicle — Big Red. Because the company didn't want any mistakes in the vehicle, it took seven years to design it. As a result, Big Red is well engineered for safety, convenience and operator comfort. A 675cc engine powers the vehicle through a three-speed automatic transmission. It reaches 40 mph, handles loads of 500 lbs. in a bed that fits a pallet, and will tow 1,500 lbs. Rubber-mounted bucket seats and headrests keep the operator comfortable. Many automotive features are built in to make Big Red one of the safest, most comfortable UVs on the market. Price: $11,399.
