Steel wagon beds

Oct 11, 2005 2:11 PM, Wayne Wenzel

Compared to conventional wood planking, these galvanized grated wagon beds from G.L. Nause Company won’t rust or rot and should last a lifetime. The steel-grated floors eliminate chaff buildup, mold and load shifting and should enhance drying while loaded.

Designed to work with all standard running gears, the structural steel framework includes a removable backrest, 3/8- x 2½-in. steel flat bar frame material, 2- x 4-in. stake pockets and 3-in. channel cross members for structural support. The company offers various-sized beds from 14 to 30 ft. ranging in price from $2,100 to $4,500. Custom lengths, running gears and rear hitches are available options.

For more information, contact G.L. Nause Co. Inc., 1971 Phoenix Dr., Loveland, OH 45140, 513/722-9500, or visit www.glnause.com.
